Halfway through the 38-minute video, a short feedback survey even pops up, asking the player for their thoughts on the game in its current state. Lots of buildings are missing their textures, a few icons are yet to be put in, and some sound effects are absent. It’s unclear if this means the game will incorporate microtransactions like Diablo Immortal.The footage is clearly taken from an early version of the game. Given it’s an early build, the footage isn’t indicative of what Diablo 4 will look like at launch, but there does appear to be a dedicated shop button. What’s more, the individual responsible has said they’re looking to strike a deal with Rockstar Games, no doubt hoping to make some money out of the whole thing.Īs for the Diablo 4 leak, a link to it was shared by Reddit user iV1rus0, who appears to have only found the footage and not uploaded it themselves. Whatever the case, this leak isn’t anywhere near as malicious as the GTA 6 one, which was the result of a hack. It’s not clear whether they actually know the person playing, since one of them says ‘Are you watching Skye right now? … Watch Skye right now.’ Another, however, asks who the player is and is told ‘I don’t know but I’ve been watching for a while.’ ![]() People can be heard talking over the footage (albeit with their voices distorted), but their conversation suggests they aren’t the ones playing and are instead watching someone else stream it. Most likely the same one that saw a much smaller leak last month. However, it’s speculated that the footage is taken from a private alpha test restricted to just friends and family of Blizzard employees. ![]()
